Biography

Deng Pei, an associate chief physician in the field of plastic surgery in China, has long practiced in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and concurrently serves as deputy director of the department. He has deep professional expertise in facial plastic surgery, ear deformity repair, and comprehensive rhinoplasty, and is particularly renowned for total ear reconstruction and facial rejuvenation surgery. In addition, he specializes in comprehensive periorbital rejuvenation surgery, multi-layered full-face rhytidectomy, breast plastic surgery, injectable minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, and revision of failed plastic surgery. As of April 2025, his practice institutions have expanded to include Wuhan Jiangxin Tianqiao Medical Aesthetic Hospital and Tongji Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Optics Valley Campus). Deng Pei serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Hubei Provincial Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Chinese Medical Association, and a Standing Committee Member of the Rhinoplasty Branch of the Chinese Society of Plastic Surgery, among other academic positions.
